Can you handle more than one concrete project at the same time?
Yes. Bundling a driveway, walkway, and patio into one project usually means one mobilization, one grading pass, and consistent joints and finish across the property, which is easier to schedule and often cheaper per square foot than doing them separately.
How do I know whether I need a repair or a full replacement?
It depends on the cause. Surface spalling and isolated cracks can often be resurfaced or sealed, and a settled slab can sometimes be leveled. Concrete that is heaved, deeply cracked through, or crumbling from a failed base usually needs to be torn out and repoured. We will tell you honestly which one your slab needs.
What concrete thickness and reinforcement do you use?
It varies by use. Driveways are typically poured 4 to 6 inches thick, patios and sidewalks around 4 inches, and slabs that carry vehicles or equipment get extra depth. We add wire mesh or rebar based on the load and the span so the slab holds together.
Do you pour concrete in the winter around Dayton?
Concrete can be placed in cold weather with the right mix, blankets, and curing precautions, but freezing temperatures and frozen ground make it harder to get right. When conditions are marginal, we will tell you and, if it makes sense, recommend waiting for better weather.
