You are in the right place

Need concrete work done right around Dayton?

Love the look of stone or brick but not the price of real pavers?
Want a patio or walkway that stands out from a plain gray slab?
Worried stamped concrete gets slick when it rains?
Not sure which pattern and color fit your home?
Wondering how much upkeep a decorative finish really needs?
Want a color that will not fade after a few summers?
Why it lasts

Decorative on top, structural underneath

Stamped concrete is only as good as the slab beneath the pattern. We build the full slab right, then bring the finish, so you get the look you want on a surface that will not crack, fade, or peel.

1
Color that runs deepIntegral color mixed through the concrete plus a release color in the stamp, so the tone holds even as the surface wears.
2
Pattern pressed at the right timeWe stamp while the slab is at the correct set, so the pattern reads crisp and consistent across the whole pour.
3
Sealed and slip-awareWe seal the surface and can add a grip additive to the sealer so it resists water, salt, and slickness underfoot.

Why homeowners choose us

Decorative concrete done properly

Real pattern and texture library

Ashlar slate, random stone, wood plank, running-bond brick, and more, matched to your home and the surrounding hardscape.

Freeze-thaw durable

Air-entrained mix and a quality sealer help the decorative surface resist the scaling that salt and freeze-thaw cause.

Priced against the alternatives

You get the look of pavers or flagstone without the joints that shift and weed, usually at a lower installed cost.

The difference

Why does some stamped concrete look great for years and some peel and fade fast?

Timing, color method, and sealing. Stamp too early or too late and the pattern is mushy or shallow. Rely on surface-only color and it wears off. We use integral color through the mix plus a release for depth, stamp at the right window, and seal the finished surface so the look lasts.

The slab underneath matters just as much as the finish on top. We pour on a compacted base with proper joints and air-entrained concrete, because a beautiful stamp on a cracking slab still cracks. You see the pattern, color, and sealer plan in writing before we pour.

How it works

From sample board to sealed finish

01

Pick pattern and color

We show you patterns and color options, talk through what suits your home, and give you a clear written price.

02

Base and slab prep

We excavate, compact the base, set forms, place reinforcement, and mix in the integral color.

03

Pour and stamp

We pour and finish the slab, apply release color, and press the stamps while the concrete is at the right set.

04

Cut, cure, and seal

We cut joints along the pattern, let it cure, then wash and seal the surface for color depth and protection.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is stamped concrete slippery when wet?

A smooth sealer can be slick, so we can add a fine grit additive to the sealer that restores traction without changing the look. On patios and walkways that matter most, we recommend it, especially near pools or steps.

How is color added to stamped concrete?

We use two methods together. Integral color is mixed through the whole batch so the tone runs deep, and a release color is worked into the surface during stamping to add contrast and highlight the pattern. Using both gives a richer, longer-lasting look than surface color alone.

How much maintenance does stamped concrete need?

Mainly resealing. The sealer protects the color and surface from salt, water, and freeze-thaw, and it wears over time. Most stamped surfaces benefit from a fresh coat every couple of years, and we can tell you the right interval for yours.

Will stamped concrete crack?

Like any concrete it can, so we control it with a compacted base, reinforcement, and joints placed along the pattern lines where they blend in. Done this way, any movement follows the joints instead of showing as a random crack across the surface.

Can you match stamped concrete to my house or existing hardscape?

Usually yes. With a range of patterns and a full palette of colors, we can get close to existing pavers, brick, or stone, or pick a tone that complements your siding and roof. We settle on the pattern and color with you before the pour.
